FA National Futsal Super League 2013/14

 

Baku United have won the FA National Futsal League Grand Finals for the second year running after recording a compelling 5-1 victory against Manchester, with all six goals coming in the second half at St. George's Park. Despite the game ending 5-1, the match was not as one-sided as the scoreline suggested. Manchester played courageously throughout but Baku proved to be too strong in the end, the clubs second consecutive title being testament to their dominance of English Futsal.

 

 

 

 

FA National Futsal Cup Men's Winners 2013/14

 

In the men's competition, Baku were 4-1 semi-final winners over Oxford City Lions, whilst Gloucestershire beat FC United of Manchester on penalties after a 3-3 draw in the women's competition semi-final. And Baku United followed that up with a 2-0 victory over Manchester in the men's Final, with their striker Jose Lozano landing the top scorer title thanks to his seven goals.

 

 

 

 

 

FA National Futsal South League 2013/14

 

The struggle was finalised in the southern division of the futsal league in England. The last champion “Baku United” once more proved that its level is higher than other teams. We should note that 8 teams were competing in this division. Our team proved to be the strongest among these competitors from the first matches. In majority of matches, our futsal players disrupted their competitors. The biggest victory was over “West London”. 17-0. The indicator of 115 in goal difference gives evidence of the strength of our team. Thus, in 14 matches – 13 victories and 1 stand-off. According to the result of the first stage, the last champions proved it was no coincidence.

 

 

FA National Futsal League 2012/13 Cup

 

In the final match of the "Baku United" met with the champion of the last five seasons the club, "Helvesia." The meeting was quite difficult for both teams. The regulation time ended in a draw 0-0. In extra time, "Helvesia" managed to open an account. However, encouraged by the strong support of the fans, the players “Baku United” rushed forward, and again at the end of the match scored a goal in the opponent's net. In the penalty shootout football, "United Baku" has shown an enviable composure and won 5-3, thus, becoming champions of England Futsal.
