The competitions for the cup of England have been held for the first time. Being the winner of the league, the main goal of "Baku United" was to win the cup. 4 clubs were competing in this tournament. "Manchester", "LOUGHBOROUGH" and "Oxford City Lions" were ambitious to win the cup in the final league. The first competitor was "Oxford City Lions". Our team had an advantage in the match. "Baku United" has almost decided the fate of the game in the first half. The member of our team Jose Lozano opened the scoring. Later Marcelo Soares made a brace and the score was 3-0. In the 2nd half, our team was happy with another goal by Gonzalo Munyoz and missed 1 ball. Thus, "Baku United", which won  the "Oxford City Lions" with a score of 4-1 in the semi-final match, was qualified for the final competition. The opponent of our team in the decisive match of the final competition was again "Manchester" team. The match was quite intense. However, our futsal players passed this test with honor. In the first half, Marcelo Soarez and Jonathan Camara distinguished themselves and the score was 2-0. The opponent put a lot of efforts in the 2nd half of the match, however could not achieve its goal. Thus, "Baku United" won "Manchester" with 2 unanswered goals in the final competition of the Cup of England and got an award of honor. So, the team was recorded in the history as the first owner of this cup.
